£11.25 per hour plus weekend enhancements of £1.50 per hour 

Covering a range of homes in our portfolio across the Bournemouth and Poole area 

About the Job

This is a fabulous opportunity if you enjoy driving and working with older people. Our Minibus Drivers ensure the highest standards of service are delivered to residents on planned excursions. Your polite and professional manner will help residents enjoy their trips and feel safe and secure. You will work closely with the Activity Organisers placing our residents’ health, welfare and interests first at all times.  Where no trips are planned, you may be called upon to transfer residents to hospital or other appointments and ensure general maintenance and upkeep of the vehicle.

About You

You must have a valid PCV licence and be used to driving in a careful and courteous manner. Ideally you will have an understanding of the care home environment and be sensitive to the needs of older people. You are friendly, kind, honest, reassuring and an effective communicator. You share our goal of delivering excellence in person centred care. A good knowledge of the basic servicing requirements of vehicles will be essential.
