About the job

HOUSEKEEPER

Based at Bourne View nursing home in Poole

30 hours per week, working on a roster between 08:00-20:00, including alternate weekends

Additional hours / overtime opportunities available to suit your circumstances

Up to £11.04 per hour inclusive of all enhancements

Pay breakdown:

Basic Pay Rate: £8.72 per hour

Plus £1.50 p/h weekend enhancement 

Enhancements for a relevant, job specific NVQ or Diploma Level qualification are paid as follows:  NVQ 2 additional 56p p/h, OR NVQ 3 additional 82p p/h

You’ll contribute to the exceptional care we provide to our residents, keeping true to our values of being ‘friendly, kind, individual, reassuring and honest’. You will be involved in daily cleaning (and deep cleaning duties when required), maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness in communal areas and residents’ rooms.

At times, you may be required to help in the laundry, you will operate machinery, sorting and delivering freshly washed and pressed clothing and linen.

We’ll provide all the equipment you need to maintain health and safety standards.

About you

Previous experience is helpful but isn’t necessary.  If you have work experience within housekeeping, cleaning, domestic duties, whether in care, hospitality or other industry sector this will be an advantage. Ideally you will have some transferable skills working with customers to high standards.
