Mobile role, based out of our Head Office, Colten House, Ringwood, working across all of our care homes based in Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and West Sussex

Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday with occasional evening and weekends when required

About the role

This is a great opportunity for a qualified Nurse with experience in Learning and Development, to join an outstanding company and make a difference to the wellbeing of resident’s lives.

The successful candidate will support and drive the development of the clinical skills for our already, great team of Nurses. Working across all 21 homes you will design, implement and develop clinical courses, competency frameworks, a nursing ‘skills plan’ through blended learning programmes.

You will also manage the successful Trainee Nurse Associate programme, that Colten Care have in partnership with Southampton Solent University. In addition, you will manage the relationship that Colten Care have with Bournemouth University for Student Nurse placements.

Development of leadership and management for our Nurses will play a part in your role.

 

About you

Most importantly, you will be a qualified Nurse, able to demonstrate a wealth of experience in the clinical care of older people and hold an accredited teaching qualification, You will demonstrate a professional and collaborative approach to working in the homes and with the wider operational team, able to juggle a number of projects and objectives simultaneously. You will have proven presentation skills and be able to show that you have kept up to date with best clinical practice, sharing new innovations internally through excellent coaching and training techniques.  You are flexible, reliable and trustworthy, able to build excellent rapport to provide a great customer experience to colleagues, residents and their families.
