Health and Safety Manager

Introduction

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Health and Safety Manager to join the team at our Support Centre, Colten House, in Ringwood, with regular travel to our luxury care homes across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and West Sussex.

This is no ordinary Health and Safety job!

You’ll utilise your extensive skills and experience to develop an engaging Health & Safety culture, ensuring that Colten Care is a safe place for staff, residents, and visitors. Working closely with Directors and Managers, you’ll promote a positive, safe working environment and make recommendations for change.

There is tremendous satisfaction to be had working in elderly care, supporting the best quality of later life for people living in, or moving to, our care homes in the south of England. You’ll play the leading role establishing a programme of continual improvement, carrying out regular audits, routine visits to our homes and supporting our very successful L&D programme in H&S and Fire Safety.

About you

You’ll have a genuine passion for your job, with proven experience working in Health and Safety at an operational level with a record of success. You’re a natural communicator, adept at building strong and lasting relationships with all stakeholders, from Directors to our home teams.

You’re adept at prioritising tasks and working efficiently on your own initiative. .
