Land Buyer/Manager

Based at Colten House in Ringwood, Hampshire (but expected to be out of office sourcing opportunities)

£40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Plus commission and benefits package.

Full time contract, 40 hours per week

Colten Developments are a family-owned developer, established for over 50 years, with housebuilding experience across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, and West Sussex. We also work closely with our sister company, Colten Care, delivering care homes for their operational portfolio. Due to growth, we are expanding our residential land team and looking for a Land Buyer to join us at this exciting time.

About The Job

• You will be involved in residential land finding, land appraisal and land acquisition
• Knowledge of land agreements and associated legal matters
• Build and maintain relationships with landowners, agents, local authorities and other developer contacts
• Working with wider technical, construction and sales teams
• Working with planning consultants to submit planning applications
• Maintaining database of contacts and land opportunities
• Reporting to the Director of Development

About You

• Previous land buying/development experience
• Network of contacts
• Ideally degree qualified (property), not essential
• An awareness of the planning system and overcoming technical matters
• Ambitious and self-motivated
• Strong IT skills
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Full UK driving licence
