Learning and Development Business Partner

Circa £38,000 per annum, plus car allowance 

40 hours per week

Based in Ringwood, Hampshire 

Introduction

We’re looking for a Learning and Development Business Partner to join our Learning and Development team in Ringwood, to champion the design and delivery of innovative and best in class development across Colten Care.  Reporting to the Head of Learning and Development, you’ll work with a fellow Learning and Development professionals to support our Home Managers with development solutions to continue outstanding care for our residents.

Managing two Care Trainers to ensure our Induction Academy supports colleagues through their first weeks and months of their career to develop skills, behaviours and values ensuring everyone receives a warm welcome to Colten care. In a regulated sector you will work with your immediate team and Home Managers to ensure statutory compliance.

With opportunities to deliver leadership and management programmes along with bespoke coaching for individuals along with L&D projects, you will inspire our people to achieve their potential.

You will work with external providers of our apprenticeship programmes to maintain the great relationships that are already in place.  

As part of our 70/20/10 approach you will author E Learning, also advise Home Managers on how to make the most of on the job learning experiences for their teams.

This role will ultimately help our homes succeed, by training and developing our people who are at the heart of what we do.

 About you

To succeed, you should be passionate about enabling people to learn and grow, be a creative and innovative learning and development professional, adept at the writing and delivery of courses and programmes. With experience of coaching, leadership and management interventions with excellent communication skills, along with stakeholder management.

You will hold a relevant Learning and Development qualification at minimum level 3, preferably higher.
