As Senior Recruitment Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the recruitment strategy at Colten Care, with the central aims of attracting, recruiting, and retaining the best talent.  Great retention starts with sound recruitment processes, and we are looking for a seasoned, professional recruiter who can bring experience and knowledge of 'best practice' attraction and selection methods, both online and offline and ‘end to end’ recruitment processes.

Colten Care’s recruitment team operate in the competitive healthcare sector, which is high volume, fast-paced and where speed of response and giving the best ‘candidate experience’ is vital. With ongoing recruitment requirements across 21 care homes in the South Coast, your role will be to:

  • Place and manage job adverts and applicants online (using the applicant tracking system and online job boards)
  • Production of recruitment related reports
  • Analyse data and make recommendations on next steps
  • Agree sources of advertising in line with the budget across multi-media channels
  • Source new talent through CV databases
  • Create and manage talent pools, proactively contacting potential candidates about suitable positions
  • Arrange and conduct telephone interviews
  • Liaise with Home Managers about candidate applications
  • Administer invitations to interview, declines and other written correspondence
  • Provide feedback, both verbal and written to candidates following interview

In addition, you will take calls from agencies, suppliers and interested candidates on the recruitment line, managing expectations and using excellent sales/customer service skills to create an initial ‘spark of interest’ with candidates about what Colten Care can offer.

From time to time, you may take part in face-to-face interviews, supporting Operations to fulfil their recruitment needs.

Working hours are 40 hour per week, mainly Monday to Friday with occasional weekends/evenings required for recruitment specific events.

About You

With experience as a professional Recruitment Consultant or in-house Recruiter either in the health care sector or the commercial world, you’ll demonstrate all the attributes and ‘know-how’ of a fast-paced recruitment function.  You’ll demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills with a superb telephone manner and an enthusiastic, proactive approach. With excellent written and spoken English, you’ll be an ‘ambassador’ for the recruitment team, ensuring that every touchpoint enables the best possible recruitment and selection experience for candidates.

You’ll demonstrate a detailed understanding of 'end to end' recruitment processes including advertising and attraction techniques, selection methods, testing and appointment processes. You will be confident in using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, adaptable to new internal systems and processes and able to analyse recruitment MI and data to inform processes.

As a recruitment professional, this is a great opportunity to join a growing team and expand your recruitment experience with a leading, luxury care home operator.
