Plumber

One of two positions in the Facilities Management Department you will be involved in all aspects of plumbing across our portfolio of 21 highly rated care homes. You will be carrying out planned preventative maintenance on hot and cold water services, clean and disinfection of assisted baths, water risk assessment remedial works and various reactive plumbing tasks reported through our Computer Aided Facilities Management system (CAFM).

The ideal candidate will carry out inspections and maintain all essential records for each of the homes. A mobile role, with extensive travel across Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and West Sussex so a driving license is essential.

About You

You'll have attained recognised plumbing qualifications (NVQ level 3 or equivalent), demonstrate a sound working knowledge of building services and have significant experience of plumbing. Gas qualifications preferable but not essential.

You are used to keeping records and are happy to work without immediate supervision, staying calm under pressure and with a great eye for detail.
