LAUNDRY ASSISTANT

Based at Whitecliffe House, Blandford DT11 7BQ

14 hours per week, 9am-4pm. Week 1: Monday and Tuesday, Week 2: Thursday and Saturday. Days subject to change due to holiday cover so some flexibility will be required.

Up to £11.04 per hour inclusive of all enhancements

Pay breakdown:

Basic Pay Rate: £8.72 per hour

Plus £1.50 p/h weekend enhancement 

Enhancements for a relevant, job specific NVQ or Diploma Level qualification are paid as follows:  NVQ 2 additional 56p p/h, OR NVQ 3 additional 82p p/h

You’ll contribute to the exceptional care we provide to our residents, keeping true to our values of being ‘friendly, kind, individual, reassuring and honest’. As a Laundry Assistant, you will operate machinery, sorting and delivering freshly washed and pressed clothing and linen. We’ll provide all the equipment you need to maintain health and safety standards.

About You

Previous experience is helpful but isn’t necessary. If you have work experience within housekeeping, cleaning, domestic duties, whether in care, hospitality or other industry sector this will be an advantage. Ideally you will have some transferable skills working with customers to high standards.
