KITCHEN DOMESTIC (WEEKENDS)

Based at Braemar Lodge, Salisbury SP1 3JH

11 hours per week, Saturday and Sunday, 2pm-7:30pm

 

Up to £11.04 per hour inclusive of all enhancements

Pay breakdown:

Basic Pay Rate: £8.72 per hour

Plus £1.50 p/h weekend enhancement 

Enhancements for a relevant, job specific NVQ or Diploma Level qualification are paid as follows:  NVQ 2 additional 56p p/h, OR NVQ 3 additional 82p p/h

You’ll contribute to the exceptional care we provide to our residents, keeping true to our values of being ‘friendly, kind, individual, reassuring and honest’. Under the supervision of the Chef, the role of Kitchen Domestic is to wash-up and put away all dishes, cutlery and equipment and to ensure all kitchen areas are clean and hygienic.  You will assist with general kitchen duties such as making sure everyone has a plentiful supply of clean water and drinks and ensure that all regulations for food health and hygiene are adhered to at all times. All this activity supports the wellbeing of our residents through the delivery of high standards of nutrition and hygiene.

 

 

About You

Previous experience is helpful but isn’t necessary. If you do have work experience of working in a kitchen, catering, restaurant or similar background then this will be an advantage. Ideally you will have some transferable skills working with customers to high standards.
