About the job

WEEKEND WAITER / WAITRESS

Based at Braemar Lodge, Salisbury SP1 3JH

14 hours per week, Saturdays and Sundays, shifts available 7am-2pm and 11am-6:30pm

Up to £11.04 per hour inclusive of all enhancements

Pay breakdown:

Basic Pay Rate: £8.72 per hour

Plus £1.50 p/h weekend enhancement 

Enhancements for a relevant, job specific NVQ or Diploma Level qualification are paid as follows:  NVQ 2 additional 56p p/h, OR NVQ 3 additional 82p p/h

You’ll contribute to the exceptional care we provide to our residents, keeping true to our values of being ‘friendly, kind, individual, reassuring and honest’. You will play a vital role in ensuring residents’ satisfaction, checking that they are enjoying their meals and taking action to correct any problems. We’ll expect you to deliver an excellent waiting service for food and beverages. We offer a variety of restaurant shifts throughout the day and evening. Depending on your shift and residents’ needs, you may provide room service for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. At all times, we will require you to maintain general Health and Safety standards.

About you

Candidates with previous waiting experience or have worked in catering, restaurant, hospitality or a similar background will be prioritised. Ideally you will also have some transferable skills working with customers to high standards.
