About the job
EXPERIENCED KITCHEN DOMESTIC (WEEKENDS)
Based at Abbotts Barton, Winchester SO23 7HB
14 hours per week, shifts include 7am-2pm and 1pm - 8pm, Saturdays and Sundays
Additional hours / overtime opportunities available to suit your circumstances
Up to £11.67 per hour inclusive of all enhancements
Pay breakdown:
Basic Pay Rate: £9.35 per hour
Plus £1.50 p/h weekend enhancement
Enhancements for a relevant, job specific NVQ or Diploma Level qualification are paid as follows: NVQ 2 additional 56p p/h, OR NVQ 3 additional 82p p/h

You’ll contribute to the exceptional care we provide to our residents, keeping true to our values of being ‘friendly, kind, individual, reassuring and honest’. Under the supervision of the Chef, the role of Kitchen Domestic is to wash-up and put away all dishes, cutlery and equipment and to ensure all kitchen areas are clean and hygienic. You will assist with general kitchen duties such as making sure everyone has a plentiful supply of clean water and drinks and ensure that all regulations for food health and hygiene are adhered to at all times. All this activity supports the well-being of our residents through the delivery of high standards of nutrition and hygiene.
About you
Applicants with previous work experience of working in a kitchen, catering, restaurant or similar background will be prioritised and ideally you will also have skills working with customers to high standards.
