Mobile Chef - £500 Welcome Bonus

In this exciting role you will be based across various homes in Chichester, Winchester and in the New Forest. You will be required to drive and be flexible in your approach to working in our professional kitchens with our brilliant staff members.

Pay rate: up to £15.10 per hour

4 on / 4 off, 6.30am - 6.30pm, average of 42 hours per week

You will become a vital part of our brigade, where we continually look to inspire, develop and motivate the next generation,  through a successful succession plan.

You will take the lead within our well-equipped kitchens, using your creativity to develop and deliver exciting dishes, from the very best locally sourced ingredients. Oh, and all shifts finish at 6:30pm, helping to create the right work life balance.

Working with our resident’s needs, you will produce wholesome, well balanced and nutritious meals to aid their health, wellbeing and tantalise their taste buds!

Our food complements the luxury surroundings, from freshly baked bread, herbs & vegetables from our Kitchen Garden, whilst taking inspiration from around the world to create a unique dining experience.

Reporting to our Chef Manager you will lead both the kitchen and waiting staff, inspiring them through development, motivation, creativity and encouragement to make a difference to our residents’ day, every day.  You will also be responsible for the catering budget and to ensure your brigade maintains the highest standards of safety and hygiene.

An excellent relationship builder, enthusiastic and collaborative in your approach. You will have the ability to build long-lasting relationships with our residents and multi award winning teams.

What you’ll have:

• Qualified to City & Guilds 706 1/2 or NVQ Level 3 in Catering / Cookery
• Enthusiasm for what you do
• Can do attitude
• Previous experience in a similar role
• A natural communicator
• A team player with a sense of fun
• Genuine passion for creating an exceptional resident dining experience
• Attention to detail
