Land Manager
Based at Colten House in Ringwood, Hampshire
£25,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. Plus benefits and commission package
Full time contract, 40 hours per week
Colten Developments are a family-owned developer, established for over 50 years, with housebuilding experience across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and West Sussex. We also work closely with our sister company, Colten Care, delivering care homes for their portfolio. Due to growth, we are expanding our residential land team and looking for a Land Buyer to join us at this exciting time.
About The Job
- Reporting to the Director of Development
- This is a varied role but you will be involved in land finding, land appraisal and land acquisition
- Develop a knowledge of associated legal matters and land agreements
- Build and maintain relationships with landowners, agents, local authorities and other developer contacts
- Working with wider technical, construction and sales teams
- Working with planning teams to submit planning applications
- Maintain database of contacts and land opportunities
About You
- Must have an interest or experience in land buying and land management
- Experience in residential development or agency
- Ideally degree qualified (property), not essential
- An appreciation of the planning system and technical matters
- Ambitious and willing to learn
- Strong IT skills
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Network of contacts
- Full UK driving licence
